Robertson Aged Care Facility

Having worked with Aveo on multiple successful projects, Blades again joined forces with the organisation to design and construct 34 new independent living aged care facilities for the retired community. Split over two buildings, with a tunnel linking both complexes, Robertson Aged Care Facility was designed to include a swimming pool, gym, communal kitchen and dining area, hair salon, physio room and a basement car park.

Constructing within an existing retirement village was a challenge that the Blades team had plenty of experience with, which saw the team quickly step into the role and place a strong focus on communicating with residents.
