The revitalisation of Market Square represents a relationship-focused project for the Blades team, as they communicate closely with tenants and the public to ensure safety at all times.
The staged build of this four-storey shopping centre adds 60 new tenancies and 400 car parks to the iconic Sunnybank space, with the existing centre remaining open for trade throughout construction. Blades was engaged for the majority of project planning services and full-suite of delivery services, working alongside the Council to deliver extensive reports on the project’s feasibility.
In adhering to the stringent development approval conditions, Blades is responsible for minimising disruption to the neighbourhood. This includes managing the installation of a temporary carpark and the upgrade to Main Road – one of Brisbane’s busiest intersections.
