Ipswich Heritage Building Refurbishment

Originally a Bendigo Bank, 45 East Street in Ipswich is a heritage-listed property that was restored to its former glory in 2014. The restoration, led by Blade’s project team, included a full internal stripping of the previous tenant’s fit-out, and modern amenities including air-conditioning, interior lift, new bathrooms and quality finishes.

Working within and respecting the constraints of a heritage-listed status brought its own unique challenges for the Blades team, who led the successful project through a 6-month planning phase and 6 months’ construction. The building now offers over 1500sqm of open plan office and retail space spread over two levels.
